Despite the great activity of science museums and science centres (MCs), science fairs and festivals (FFCs) and other science culture initiatives, in which millions of people around the world participate every day, very little is known about their long-term effects on visitors and the cities in which they are located. This project analyses the long-term effects of the science culture initiatives (MC and FC) developed in Spain, both on their visitors and on the communities and cities in which they are located.
